Without exception, Robertson products are guaranteed to meet or exceed the standard requirements of the New Zealand Building Code. Our sales support is second to none, and we are always happy to help with any query or issue you may have.
Extended Guarantees
- 5 year guarantee on all other tapware materials, with the exception of washers, o rings and other perishable parts
- 10 year guarantee against crazing, cracking or discolouring of vitreous china
- 5 year guarantee on timber vanities and prefinished vanities
- 10 year guarantee on accessories
- 25 year guarantee on QUARRYCAST® baths
- 12 month guarantee on spouts, showers, toilet seats (excluding commercial use) and parts (washers, o rings, valves)
Where the product fails within the warranty period we offer a free replacement or replacement part (or nearest equivalent). This warranty does not include the cost of labour.
This guarantee is transferable – it applies to the product not the purchaser provided proof or purchase details are passed on to the new owner. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Products must be installed, used and cared for in line with our fixing instructions and building regulations. Taps and mixers, toilet seats, cistern fittings, acrylic baths, bath panels, showers, cast iron baths and parts (e.g. ballvalves and syphon diaphrams), are guaranteed in accordance with the Durability Clauses of the New Zealand Building regulations and the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Some product warranties may be effected by misuse or local conditions eg. adverse cleaning products.
The above guarantees apply only to products imported and sold by Robertson. These guarantees do not cover products sold by Robertson under any other agency, company or brand name.
Important:
Products must be inspected prior to installation.
Please ensure that all products purchased from Robertson are inspected prior to installation. Should any defects be found do not install. Return the product to the point of purchase for a replacement. If a faulty product is installed Robertson will not accept any liability for the cost of the labour to remove and install any replacement product.
